This report describes the results of the pilot evaluation activities of Work package 5. It presents the experimentation and evaluation results of the execution of the pilots and their subsequent trials reported in D5.2 in terms of design and implementation. An exploratory research approach guided the evaluation design of the colMOOC developments in terms of conversational agents and learning analytics technological components, which were integrated in three different educational providers. Four pilot MOOCs and twelve subsequent trials in these scenarios were then organised for the colMOOC technology to support collaborative activities within real online courses. Evaluation results are presented, and lessons learned regarding the practical application of the main project outcomes are translated into good practices. Meaningful findings and recommendations for future experiences and for policy actions are eventually provided.
